Not every customer picks a point in the cart. Some use a fast checkout button, some close the modal. The post-purchase fallback catches them. It puts a pickup point block on the Thank you page and on the Order status page, so the order can still get a point without you writing to the customer. You add the block in Shopify's checkout and accounts editor, in two places.
On Dashboard, find the Locker selection after purchase row in Operational status. Its button opens the checkout and accounts editor on the page you still need.
In the editor, add the app block on the Thank you page and save. Then switch to the Order status page and add it there too. One block on its own is not enough: the dashboard row reads Partially active until both are live.
On an order that already has a point, the block reads InPost locker selected. On an order without one, it offers Show map and a list of nearby points, and Save InPost locker confirms the choice. An ORLEN Paczka order gets the same block with that carrier name. A courier order shows nothing at all.
Skip the picker on one test order and check the block appears: Test pickup selection before going live.
Open the same order from the customer account to confirm the Order status block is there too.
Watch the badge on Dashboard: it is the fastest way to see whether a theme or checkout change dropped a block.
