Sometimes the locker picker loses its interactive map and shows a plain list of points instead. Buyers can still find and choose a locker this way, so nothing about checkout stops working, but the map view is gone until the cause clears.
The picker's heading changes to Pickup point list.
The text under it reads: "The map is unavailable right now, but InPost locker selection still works. Enter a city or postal code and we will show matching points on the list."
Search by city, postal code, or locker number still works in the list view, so buyers are not blocked.
Every locker map a buyer opens counts once against a monthly Google Maps budget tied to your plan, and the picker falls back to the list once that budget runs out for the month.
Free: 75 map loads a month.
Basic: 300 map loads a month.
Standard: 900 map loads a month.
Premium: 3,000 map loads a month.
The budget renews at the start of each calendar month.
You cannot see this budget or its usage anywhere in the app; it is tracked on our side, and we get an automatic alert when a shop is close to or has hit its limit.
Upgrading to a higher plan raises the budget immediately, without waiting for the counter to reset. If you need it raised sooner without upgrading, contact us: the limit can be bumped for your shop specifically.
See what each plan's map budget sits alongside: InPost plans: what each one includes.
A spent map budget is different from a picker that never opens at all: The pickup picker does not appear in my cart covers that case.
Stuck on any of this? Open the chat in the bottom right corner of the app and we will help you set it up.
