Once a pickup order has a point on it, the label is a couple of clicks away and you never leave Shopify. There are two entry points and they do the same job, so use whichever is closer to hand.
In the order sidebar there is a card headed Shipment. One line tells you where the order stands, for example "Ready for label" or "Label ready". If something is missing, that line names it.
The same flow opens in a modal from More actions on the order, as Shipping label. Open app takes you into the app settings if something needs fixing there.
Set Parcel size before generating. It defaults to the medium size, so a small parcel costs more than it needs to.
The app shows a field for whatever it still needs. No saved point gives you Pickup point code in the modal, or InPost locker code on the Shipment card. Incomplete customer details give you Recipient email and Recipient phone. A missing number of your own gives you Sender phone with Save sender phone, which stores it for every future label.
Press Generate label. When the label is ready, Download PDF A6 gets the file. Occasionally the carrier accepts the shipment before the file exists, and the app asks you to try again in a moment.
Shipping a batch? Print labels for many orders at once is faster than one at a time.
Check Choose the right parcel size first: the two carriers use different size names.
If generation fails, Why label generation failed lists each cause and its fix.
Stuck on any of this? Open the chat in the bottom right corner of the app and we will help you set it up.
