A different locker shows up at checkout

A highlighted button in the picker reuses the last locker a customer saved and goes straight to checkout. Here is how to spot it and fix it.

A customer picks a locker in the cart, but checkout shows another one. Usually they tapped the highlighted button for the locker they saved earlier, and that button skips the map.

Step 1: Ask what the first button said

Ask if it started with Recent locker, followed by a locker name and address. With ORLEN Paczka enabled it starts with Recent point instead.

Step 2: Explain what that button does

It saves the earlier locker and opens checkout right away. The map never opens, so no new locker is chosen.

Step 3: Ask the customer to pick again

Tell them to tap InPost locker instead. It opens the map, where they search and pick a locker for this order.

Step 4: Know where the earlier locker comes from

It is the last locker the customer saved, not one read from the cart. A signed-in customer gets it on every device. A guest gets it only in the same browser, for up to 180 days.

What to do next

  • Order already placed with the wrong locker? Add pickup selection to the Thank you and Order status pages covers changing it after purchase.

  • What your customer sees, from cart to parcel locker walks through the whole path.

  • Add ORLEN Paczka alongside InPost explains the neutral wording.

Stuck on any of this? Open the chat in the bottom right corner of the app and we will help you set it up.
